Here is the latest DSS Feedhorn designed to be mounted directly on the end of the feed support of a DSS/RCA Dish. The feedhorn and mounting is from the original LNB. I cut off the feedhorn, removed all the contents from the LNB, surface milled the LNB chassis, TIG welded the feedhorn onto an aluminum cube, bored out the complete unit to 0.800 inches. I then made a shorting back and remounted the assembly back onto the chassis of the LNB such that the feedhorn is in the same position as the original. This provides both the angle and focus at a fixed point which the dish was designed for.
