VHF and UP Register

Welcome to the VHF and UP Callsign Registry. This Registry is a database register to provide the VHF contester with information to help during the contests. Once you register with the database, you are able to add or maintain your information for yourself and others to use for planning your contest activity.

If you have a website, I would appreciate a link to the VHF register. Without these links, the word about the register will not get out and consequentally won't be as useful. You can post it as http://www.aa1yn.com/vhf

If you find a bug or a function which doesn't work, let me know. I will need as much information as you can give me so be precise. Use my Contact page to report bugs.

For an idea on what station info is like, go to the search function and search on my call (AA1YN) and click on my callsign link.

I have ported all the information (as of 2-Feb-2006) over from the WSJT database so your logins are the same. If you registered with the WSJT database as of 02-Feb or later, you may/are not in the VHF database and need to register. My intention is to combine the two databases and eliminate the WSJT database once I've written all the WSJT support programs.

7-FEB-2006 - DUE TO MASSIVE ATTEMPTED SERVER BREAKINS FROM CHINA - NONE OF WHICH SUCCEEDED, I NEEDED TO UPDATE SERVER SOFTWARE SECURITY. THIS CAUSED NON-COMPATABILITY BETWEEN OTHER SOFTWARE ON THE SERVER AND I HAD TO UPGRADE THESE. I HAVE FIXED A PROBLEM WITH UPDATES AND EVERYTHING SHOULD BE WORKING. IF YOU FIND ANY BUGS OR HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE CONTACT ME SO I CAN FIX IT. NO DATA HAS BEEN EFFECTED IN ANY WAY.

Over the past couple of years, I've had a number of offers for donations to support this and the WSJT database sites. I've always refused them but after trying to get to a few sites on QSL.NET and thinking there is a better way, I figured I’d offer web hosting for hams inexpensively and at the same time providing a way to support these two sites. Please see ham radio hosting.
